Stuff I like.... The Universal Currency Converter I travel a lot. Very very useful Ars Technica Smart tech site, from politics to gaming The Register Sometimes very interesting tech gossip. 2000AD The old Alma Mater, often good, periodically brilliant, always worth a look. Ain't It Cool News Film Geekery. Comic Book Resources Lots of comic news and OpEd, from a US perspective. The Beat Heidi MacDonalds comics news Blog on the Publishers Weekly site. Required reading. Virtual Acorn My early Dante covers were all done on my Acorn RiscPC. I've had 3 PCs and a Mac since then and none of them have quite taken it's place. Martin Millar He wrote Lux & Alby ( which I drew ) and a whole bunch of other great books, highly recommended. See Work>Stuff for a 3 page 'Good Fairies of New York' story he and I did a while back. Sergio Toppi. Most of the sites devoted to him are in italian, this one and this one are in English. The Lambiek Comicopedia is a great resource too. Hotel Fred Roger Langridge is finally getting some of the recognition he deserves. Lets hope he remembers us little people. Babel Fish So very very useful to me right now. Robbie Morrison Hell may freeze over tomorrow, Robbie has a website...it's a miracle! Wikipedia It's very good on Brit comic and a bunch of other stuff. I'd like to thank whoever it is that keeps my entry so up to date. The Engine I've been on a large number of discussion forums over the years. Currently I can be found on this one. It belongs to Warren Ellis. Paul Gravette a collection of his various articles and recommendations. Always a lucid and intelligent voice about comics and better informed than anybody else I've ever met. ACT-I-VATE A big old nest of Web-Comics. I used to think Web-Comics were crap, until I started following ACT-I-VATE. Livejournal This is my Livejournal. Not a lot there at the moment. It's more a means of discussing things with friends and fellow comics types. As of mid to late February 2007 I will be doing a weekly webcomic here and on ACT-I-VATE. Check out here for more MySpace I'm still not entirely sure what this is actually FOR and the interface is dire. Still people seem to use it. ComicSpace Kind of like MySpace but for us comics dorks, therefore better. ![]() |
